JoSAA 2018 Document Verification {Required Documents}: After the successful completion of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced 2018, the appeared aspirants eagerly wait for their results. Once the results are announced, the qualified candidates are allotted seat in their preferred choices of colleges or institutes as per their rank in the JEE Main rank list.

JoSAA 2016 Document verificationOn the basis of choices of institutes or colleges filled by the desiring candidates, the merit lists of applicants who have been allotted seats in respective colleges are displayed. Therefore it is advised to the candidates, that they must rush to the respective college for confirming their seat within the given time frame.

Next, comes the procedure of JoSAA 2018 document verification, all the necessary documents which are mentioned by the authority must be carried by all qualified candidates at the time of counselling, JoSAA seat allotment and admission procedure. At the time of confirmation, both original and attested forms should be with the candidates. In July 2018, JoSAA Document Verification will be done by JoSAA 2018.

If the candidate fails to submit any of the requisite documents, they must inform well in advance to the authority otherwise it will create the problem at the time of admission procedure. The process of JoSAA 2018 document verification will be conducted in every round, for those students who have been allotted the seats in JoSAA 2018.

The document verification process is very important and integral part of admission process, it’s not a formality but it is essential part. Thus it is advised to every candidate to take all necessary documents and must recheck it again about all the mentioned documents to be carried by them at the time of admission. The violation of any norms at the time of JoSAA document verification, may lead to cancellation of admission.

The list of JoSAA 2018 required documents which are to be carried at the time of admission process is as follows:

  1. Original Admit Card of JEE Main 2018/ JEE Advanced 2018
  2. Medical Examination Report
  3. Provisional Seat Allocation Letter
  4. 10th Class Mark Sheet
  5. 12th Class Mark Sheet
  6. Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL) if required.
  7. If required, PwD Certificate

All the original certificates and one photocopy of each documents (as mentioned above) must be carried by the applicants.

Joint Allocation Authority conducts the counseling and seat allocation procedure of qualified candidates in JEE Main and JEE Advanced Exam 2018. The authority is responsible for granting the admission of selected aspirants in various institutes such as IIT’s, IIIT’s, NIT’s, GFTI’s, etc.

Only those candidates are allowed to participate in the JoSAA counselling procedure who have qualified in the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced Exam 2018.
