JoSAA Spot round : No Spot round for JoSAA: JoSAA, that is, Joint Seat Allocation Authority is basically a memorandum signed between different authorities that monitor admission process at 80 top-tier technical JoSAA Spot roundinstitutes of India. The motive behind this memorandum is to regulate the admission process at various IITs, NITs, ISM Dhanbad and other technical institutes.

In other words, this memorandum aspires to provide a uniform admission procedure to the emerging technical minds of India. The memorandum which was signed on May 2, 2015 in IIT Bombay is all set to come into action for the academic year 2018.

Things to Remember for JoSAA Registration?

  • In order to register for JoSAA 2018, candidates will have to register on official website of JoSAA.
  • Registration should be done on time before the due date is over or else it will be cancelled.
  • There are a total of 5 eligibility criteria and all of these criteria should be fulfilled.
  • A candidate can register for himself for JEE advanced 2018 if he or she failed to register for it while registering for JEE mains 2018.
  • Once the application is completed, a candidate cannot withdraw it. Moreover, there is no option for refunding the fees.

Only after the registration is successful, candidates will be able to fill their choices about institutes and branches. All the candidates must carefully go through all the rules and regulations listed on the official website of JoSAA 2016 before applying for it.

There will not be any Spot round in JoSAA. So candidates will have to get allotted in 4 rounds only.

  1. sir mere jee mains mein 40 marks h and 12 th m 65% from uk board and I from uttarakhand and belong to gen category…..kya mujhe uttarakhand k kisi govt college m admission mil payega….pls reply fast because if no chance for govt clg then i ‘ ll try for private clg

Sir i had given entrance for jee and i got 78 marks and i am selected for nit mizoram and i submit my fee also but after going for documents verification i came to know that their is some changes about marks this year.up to last year i have to score only 50% marks but because of this changes i am facing problem..sir please change this new rule of getting 45%marks separately in maths..

  4. God love you, Larry. Please just be sure to keep that girl away from drugs when she gets into her pre-teens and teens. I’m sure addiction runs in her genes, and with her positive growing up time with you, perhaps, sh;2&8#17ell be strong enough not to let that stuff into her life.

  5. Sir there are many seats are vaccants in iits ,nits&govt.colleges so is any spot round in jossa? if not then what will be criteria for get addmission in these colleges .is these seats will be vacant?plzz…give us proper guidance about this.
